My Story

Hi, I’m Aman. Welcome to my website!

 

I’m currently a filmmaker and writer living in Los Angeles, California, but I’ve spent most of my life in the city I call home, Mumbai in India.

 

Growing up, I wanted to be an actor. Then a writer. Then a filmmaker. To be honest, my dream jobs changed a lot, but somehow, all of them involved storytelling. You see, everything I’ve ever done has somehow involved a larger narrative. When I went to sleep at night, I wasn’t just a 6-year-old boy falling asleep under his blanket, I was my country’s last hope, sent out to space on an urgent mission. When I played sports with my brother, I wasn’t just a 10-year-old boy with a plastic cricket bat and sponge ball in his bedroom, I was my team’s captain, playing his heart out in the World Cup final. My surroundings could change depending on the world I wanted to live in. In the morning I was a wizard, in the afternoon I was a WWE wrestler and in the night I was Batman. To me, the possibilities were endless.

 

I began acting when I was very young. It was the first of many outlets for me to share my stories with the world. This led to me writing. Poems, fiction, scripts, you name it. Eventually, I began making films and I’ve never looked back. I’m constantly striving to tell the best tales I can. This is my dream, and I’m going to keep working hard to share all of the stories that live in my head. All the stories I live In.
